DJ Shiondi “Studio One” (Produced by LONEgevity)
Lone linked up with Hawaii’s DJ Shiondi this past summer, and a couple jams were made in the process. This song, which sample’s music made in Kingston, Jamaica’s Studio One, is a tribute to not only that pioneering studio, but also to the founder Sir Coxone Dodd. Chicago emcee Papi Jamon and Indianapolis producer LONEgevity linked up a few months ago and knocked out a 7-track EP entitled Connect Game, and after singles about phony rappers, vibing in the midwest, how to correctly rock a crowd, and the violence in many of our cities today, they’ve let us unleash their 7 track project to the masses. The project features Hinx Jones, P One, and is mixed and mastered by ILL Brown. Artwork by Ves120.
